Diamond Divas hosting Disaster City - OK, this one was a hot, sticky affair in the lovely Central Valley. Disaster City pretty much dominated a very one-sided game, but the crowd was really into it, and the girls had fun. Klik here to check out the piks.

Disaster City hosting the Diego Rollers - All I can say was that this game was a total "trip" although it was good to see my ladies from the Inland Area again. Klik here for pics. Special congrats to Nassty Nanny, who was proposed marriage (and subsequently accepted) by Nics following the game. I love you two and wish the best of happiness in your respective futures together.

Angel City Derby Girls v. Arizona Rollergirls - After seeing the Hollywood Scarlettes in action twice, I wonder if anyone will be able to beat them this year? Last time I saw a team this good was Team Awesome, but I will go on the record as saying these ladies could beat about anyone, anytime, anywhere. LA Derby Dolls hosting the SD Derby Dolls - The SD Swarm came to town and kicked some major booty in a hostile environment! Tip of the Stetson to LA, as that joint is definitely the klass of roller derby (if you are thinking of starting a league, I tell ya, you will want it to turn into a well-oiled machine like theirs is). Affliction: Day of Reckoning from the Honda Center in Anaheim - Mixed martial arts combat at it's finest. The heavyweight match featured the long awaited Fedor v.
