Saturday Night Fish Fry at the Redwood Bar and Grill - This was one dandy evening of country swing music by the Alkali Flats and the Lucky Stars. Klik here and here for the galleries.

The Saloonatics at Outlaws - If you like rock, you need to check these cats out. Was one dandy of a show, and they played Stranglehold....klik here for the images.

Rockabilly Brunch at the Redwood - Nothing to start off a Sunday like some good rockabilly tunes, a nice dimly-lit bar, all in lovely Downtown LA. Truly Lovers Trio (klik here for images), Brian Jay and the Last Call Boys(klik here for images, and Johnny Law and the Pistol Packin' Daddies (klik here for images) tore it up! If you get a chance to see these guys, they are worth your while fer shure!

Thankscrimmage 2008 - Prison City Derby Dames hosted this dandy of a scrimmage featuring your favorite ladies from all over SoCal, along with a dandy of a feast afterward. Klik here for the images.

Bikes, bikes, and more bikes on Mulholland - If you have never been to the overlook, you need to make it there sometime. Klik here for images of what I saw a couple of Sundays ago on a perfect day in SoCal....

Bakersfield hosting Smog City - This one was just taken last weekend. The ladies raised over $2k for a skater from Smog City, Marisol Nunez, whom is undergoing cancer therapy. I had a chance to talk to this brave young lady at the post-bout fiesta, and I am confident she is gonna beat this. Klik here for the pics.

8/30 and 8/31 - Primernationals in Ventura - Klik here to see the images. It was truly an excellent weekend dedicated to those who built the Rat Rods, Lowriders, and special rides....if you have not experienced it, you need to check it out.

Killer Rides! Kilk here if you wanna see some of the killer rides I stumbled across when stopping for a Chicken Fried Steak on the 5 in the lovely town of Westley, CA. Lemme tell ya, if you are game for some good grub, this joint is well worth it!
